The course prepares candidates for the State Police Deputy Inspector competitive examination, as announced in the call published under “Calls and Notices” on the PA Recruitment Portal.
It is designed by university lecturers and qualified experts to provide candidates seeking a career in law enforcement, particularly as Deputy Inspectors in the State Police, with suitable preparation.
The course is designed to provide thorough, targeted preparation in the subjects covered by the State Police Deputy Inspector competition, with a particular focus on the oral exam, the most demanding and selective stage of the entire selection process. However, since the multiple-choice written exam remains crucial, supplementary learning resources will be provided through the Foundation’s e-learning platform, which will offer:
- Annotated bibliography;
- An interactive forum for discussion with faculty;
- Regulatory updates and selected study materials.
The course has the following objectives:
- Prepare candidates to perform at their best in the oral examination of the competitive selection process through practical exercises, mock exams and in-depth study of the most current legal issues;
- Promote a sound knowledge of the regulatory framework and operational procedures of the Italian State Police, as well as the ethical values and professional responsibilities that define the role of an inspector;
- Provide tools to prepare for the English language and computer skills tests through dedicated modules and self-assessment tests;
- Develop the transversal and interdisciplinary skills needed to meet the day-to-day challenges of service, including emergency management, conflict resolution and protecting citizens’ rights;
- Equip candidates to effectively handle an aptitude interview by enhancing their ability to best express their qualities and potential.

Durata
Duration: 100 hours online in live sessions (video lessons will be recorded and made available on the e-learning platform along with the study materials provided by the instructors).
In addition, both the aptitude interview and the final oral interview simulation, for those who request it, may be held at the Foundation’s premises in the presence of our instructors.

The course is intended primarily for high school graduates, as well as university graduates, who wish to apply for the competitive examination.
Certificate awarded
Certificate of attendance for the "Preparatory Course for the Police Vice-Inspector Examination". The certificate is issued subject to attendance of at least 80% of the lessons.

€816.00 including €16.00 virtual stamp duty (refundable only if

Discounts
The fee is €736.00 for LUMSA and Lumsa Human Academy students and alumni, members of the Police Forces, local police and Fire Brigade, and their family members.
For children of victims who died in the line of duty, the fee is €416.00.
The fee includes the virtual stamp duty of €16.00 (refundable only if the Course is not activated or the applicant is not admitted. The virtual stamp duty will not be refunded).
To qualify for the concession, applicants must submit a self-certification confirming that they belong to one of the above-mentioned categories when enrolling.
