Preparatory course for the competition for Deputy Police Inspector
Headquarters: LHA
Duration: 100 hours
Start: in progress
Cost: €816.00
Registration status: open
The course aims to prepare for the competition for Deputy Inspector of the State Police, as per the announcement published in the notices and announcements section of the PA Recruitment Portal.
It is designed by university professors and qualified experts to provide adequate preparation for candidates wishing to pursue a career in law enforcement, particularly as Deputy Inspectors in the State Police.
The course is designed to provide solid and targeted preparation for the subjects covered in the competitive exam for Deputy Inspectors of the State Police, particularly the oral exam, which represents the most challenging and selective part of the entire competitive exam process. However, given that the written exam, consisting of multiple-choice questions, remains crucial, teaching support tools will be provided through the Foundation's e-learning platform, which will offer:
- Reasoned bibliographical indications;
- An interactive discussion forum with teachers;
- Regulatory updates and selected study materials.
The course has the following objectives:
- Prepare candidates to best face the oral exam of the competition, through practical exercises, simulations and in-depth studies on the most current legal issues;
- Promote a solid understanding of the regulatory framework and operational procedures of the State Police, as well as the ethical values and professional responsibilities that characterize the role of the inspector;
- Provide tools for preparing for the English language and IT exams, through dedicated modules and self-assessment tests;
- Develop the transversal and interdisciplinary skills needed to address the daily challenges of the service, including emergency management, conflict resolution, and the protection of citizens' rights;
- Enable candidates to develop the ability to effectively face an aptitude interview by increasing their ability to best express their characteristics and potential.
