The LUMSA Human Academy ETS Foundation publishes a directory of professionals and experts trained in support administration, with the aim of establishing best practices for the benefit of beneficiaries and those appointed to serve as support administrators (Law No. 6 of 9 January 2004), as well as assisting the Guardianship Judges’ Offices at courts throughout Italy in selecting suitable candidates for the role of support administrator. The directory is also useful to families and anyone wishing to appoint or refer someone who needs a support administrator. The administrator may also be designated by the person concerned, in anticipation of possible future incapacity, by public deed or notarised private agreement.
