The course aims to qualify, integrate, and strengthen the welfare system, providing professionals and associations operating in the healthcare, social, and advocacy sectors with the tools necessary to perform the role of Support Administrator. The initiative also aims to address the need, felt by the Third Sector, for the increasing professionalization of its workers, combining technical expertise with a focus on interpersonal relationships.
The specific objective of the training program is to prepare a social support and guardian, as required by current legislation, to assist individuals who, due to physical or mental infirmity or impairment, are unable to independently care for their own interests and carry out normal daily activities.
At the end of the training course, a Certificate of Attendance will be issued, subject to attendance of at least 80% of the lessons.
GOALS
The course aims to train professionals capable of acquiring knowledge and skills relating to the discipline of Support Administration, as introduced in the Civil Code, in order to enable them to register on the lists available to the Guardianship Judges of the various Regions.
The primary objective of the Support Administrator is to protect individuals who are partially or totally deprived of autonomy in carrying out daily activities, through temporary or permanent support interventions, ensuring flexible and personalized protection of their interests. Upon completion of the course, it will be possible to register on the list of expert Support Administrators established by the LUMSA Human Academy.
